Adventure Gold (AGLD) is the native ERC-20 token of the Loot. It was launched on Sept. 2, 2021, and allowed each owner of a Loot NFT to claim 10,000 tokens for free. AGLD is created by Will Papper.
AGLD was officially accepted as the Loot hyperverse governance token in a proposal on Sept.8, 2021. The proposal aims to take the first step in solving Loot community governance model, so that the wider goals of value creation and development support across the ecosystem can begin to be implemented. After the proposal was passed, Loot community can then vote on future proposals regarding Loot DAO funding, inflation (if any), etc.
